The Kansas City Room at 28 Event Space was so great for a wedding reception! The venue is awesome and has plenty of room for big tables that can seat a lot of family and friends on your special day. The venue has a bar set up that is in a great spot to still have your loved ones mingle without long bar lines getting in the way of people eating. The spiral staircase would make for a wonderful entrance for a photo op. Lots of rooms for the bridal party to get ready for their big entrance in!

Mrs. Clean Bins is a new locally owned business in Kansas City Metro and they are AMAZING!!! I came across their ad on Facebook and wanted to try it (who likes cleaning their trash bins?). I called and talked with Nicki, the owner, and she put me on the calendar for the very next day. My husband was home when they cleaned them and he called me and said, "They did a super job and they even smell good". I would highly recommend them and take advantage of their promotion running now. Enjoy!!! #supportlocal

The Mean Mule is located in KC Crossroads at 1733 Locust. Do you know how you can only call it Champagne if it is from a certain place in France? Well, you can only call it tequila if it is from a certain origin. They do not sell tequila, but agave spirits! They create hand-crafted cocktails with said spirits in their tasting lounge. A relaxing atmosphere perfect for learning the story of the Mean Mule. IF nothing else.....The Merch is worth the trip! We all know a Mean Mule who needs to be recognized as such.

At the Excelsior Wine Festival, my group came upon Weston Wine Company and met the events planner, Hannah. She was full of personality and totally sold the yummy wine where I purchased some bottles to take home. If you get a chance to visit Weston Wine Company, you need to go. It's among the many of the other fun things and places to go in Weston Area. The greater KC area has so many fun events and places to go, see, and listen to local bands. What's your plan for Father's Day? Enjoy!!!

Chaz is located inside the Rafael Hotel south of the Country Club Plaza. It's nice, low-lit, intimate jazz music with a fabulous rich menu offering. My pick of an appetizer is the Almost Avocado Toast. My favorite side is Truffle Yucca Fries and the main dish is the Steak Diane. Chas offers live music Friday and Saturday evenings as well as outside entertainment every Wednesday night beginning in May thru September. Let me know how it goes when you try it with your favorite person! Happy date night!
