Roots Seasonal Cuisine is fabulous and is located off Pryor and 470 Hwy, close to Unity Village, in Lee's Summit. This new restaurant changes menus with the seasons, so you get a new one every three months. The fall menu begins September 1st, 2023. We were invited to a special dinner that Amanda, the owner and head chef, explained as a "trial" for the fall menu. I would have ordered the meal just as I was pre-organized for our small crew. For starters, they offered us spring rolls filled with crisp fresh veggies and pork, served with a sweet/spicy dipping sauce. The main course was crab-stuffed Salmon and cheesy risotto - oh so yum. We ended the night having delicious chocolate banana truffles with all the flavors! We walked out of there totally happy and satisfied, and we definitely will go back!!!
