Parkville is one of my all-time favorite places to be, especially in the summer. It is a cute city with a population of just over 5,500 people. My favorite thing to do there is playing mini-golf at Parkville Mini Golf. You can't miss it as it is located at the top of the stairs, which is the first thing you see when entering Parkville. Before COVID, they would give out free popcorn to people playing on the course. Ice cream and bottled drinks are also available to purchase. Go back to the bottom of the stairs and you will find a cute little Italian restaurant which has amazing bread and pasta. There is also a really good pizza shop located just across the street as well as multiple boutique and coffee shops. If you love antiques as much as I do, then you are sure to enjoy this place as it also has many antique stores for you to get lost in. One of the antique stores has a little deli in it which has good subs and cream soda! Parkville is also home to Park University which you can spot from the highway before even entering the city. This beautiful, private, non-profit school was founded in 1875 and the bell still rings. If you don't mind the historic downtown feel, you're sure to love Parkville too!
