    As a native Californian, I consider myself a taco aficionado! So before moving to KC I HAD to know where the best mexican food was. I was immediately pointed to any taqueria on Southwest Blvd! That's where I discovered Tacos El Gallo! Nestled right in the middle of some really great Mexican food places, this place was by far the best. What really stood out to me was the quality and spiciness of their pastor (marinated pork). A lot of taco joints in KC have some pretty bland pastor that they try to make interesting with pineapple chunks. Not only was there no pineapple chunks, but the meat was beautifully seasoned and as stated before quite spicy. Three of those bad boys, paired with their green sauce is winning combo any time of day! So if you are looking for some truly stand out tacos in the metro. This place will surely impress you!
