Throughout the year the great community of Parkville hosts many festivals and events that bring us closer together. On August 24, 2013 join the community in the 3rd annual Parkville Days Run by the River. The run goes through beautiful English Landing Park and along the river. Known as the "The Fastest 5k in the Northland." The whole race is either downhill or flat! Starting at Sonic at 63rd Street and 9 Hwy, head south on 9 Hwy, enter English Landing park, proceed on the 2 mile loop, and finish at the stage by the playgrounds.ALL PARKING WILL BE AT ENGLISH LANDING PARK. Buses will pick up participants from Pancho's Cantina from 8:00 - 9:30AM to transport runners up to Parkville City Hall.Come out and join the fun or come down and cheer on the crowd.
