I have lived in Parkville for the past 12 years and have really enjoyed most of the development around and in our little town, particularly all of the gyms and yoga studios that are available. For me, having easy access to different exercise options is very important. I won't typically drive more than 10 minutes for this. I covered the outdoor options in a previous post. Here, I am going to list the options that are either within Parkville city limits or within 5 miles of downtown. Yoga Studios: Om Prana, Platte County Community Center South offers yoga classes, KC Yoga Center (formerly Zona Yoga). and InBliss Yoga.Gyms: Platte County Community Center South, Hitch Fit, Laz Fit, Orange Theory Fitness, andCross Fit Northland.Specialty: Purre Barre, Rise and Shine Pilates and Wellness, and 9 Rounds.I'm sure I have missed some and this doesn't include all of the options that are more than five miles away! No getting bored with your workout with this kind of accessibility!
