I love to bike the south side of the Line Creek Trail! My favorite "out and back" ride starts at the trail head at 68th Street. Heading south from there, the trail takes you through wooded areas, along a creek and into Riverside, MO. Once you get to the Riverside portion of the trail you will start to see the city's fabulous new art installation focused on the monarch butterfly and its migration patterns through the area. There are many beautiful metal sculptures, stained glass displays and some colorful art installations from Park Hill School art students. You can see all of the art by staying on the trail and making your way to the bridge leading to Argosy Casino. All along the bridge are colorful, stained glass displays that reflect onto the pavement. It really is beautiful. Once you reach the casino, the installation ends, but I really like to bike up onto the levy to the end and then turn around. It's about a 16 mile, round trip and well worth it!
