My wife and I contacted Dawn in regards to a property listing which was about an hour away. After driving to look at the property we quickly realized it was not at ALL what we expected to see. Dawn seemed very unfamiliar with the property she was showing and didn't seem to know some of the most basic information. Once we arrived we learned that the property was a foreclosure/bank owned property which wasn't clearly stated in the listing (Dawn thinks that the average buyer/home shopper should know realtor acronyms such as "REO" and considers that to be disclosure enough). Dawn said that the home would only qualify for cash and conventional (which isn't a problem for us) but when asked why, her only responses were that it was because of the construction type, the pantry not being finished and a piece of the or two that were popped. Since this all seemed pretty minor, we made the drive to look at the property. Once we arrived we immediately noticed a giant hole in the yard (Dawn just tried to distract our attention to the different types of trees next to giant hole). Apparently the home had major water supply line issues which she had no idea about. Moving on we immediately noticed damaged siding... damaged/missing piece of roof on the garage (literally, the whole corner was busted off the roof), what appeared to be unfinished rebar sticking out the side of the structure (concrete dome quonset hut style house). Inside was missing trim, mold, discolored base boards from what appeared to be water, a bird's nest the size of a human torso, a room which was apparently used as a bird habitat by the previous inhabitants along with bird feces lining the floor of the interior room of the house. Yet the only thing she thought to mention was "unfinished pantry and loose tile". The photos in no way represented the property very honestly (unsure who took the photos) but had Dawn been more honest and up front it would have definitely prevented wasting each other's time. My wife and I were VERY disappointed in her lack of clear communication.
